Feid

Singer, songwriter and producer

Born 1992

Feid is a Colombian singer, songwriter and producer from Medellín, born on August 19, 1992. His recording career developed alongside songwriting for other artists, with 19 marking a move towards a more prominent position as a performer. His musical background includes childhood clarinet study and singing in a university choir. Piano and guitar became part of his production work. That route placed performance and songwriting alongside the practical work of shaping recordings. In a September 2024 interview, his mother, Lucía Hoyos, recalled the Cantarte children’s choir at the University of Antioquia. She said he completed two semesters of graphic advertising communication at the University of Medellín before leaving to pursue music with his parents’ support. He co-wrote J Balvin’s Ginza in 2015 and worked with artists including Nicky Jam and Reykon. Later, he described his own music as romantic reggaetón with flow, while explaining that developing a recognisable personal style mattered to him. Así Como Suena arrived in November 2017. Its release established an album catalogue that would develop through both longer records and shorter collaborative projects. 19 followed in May 2019. Collaborations with Alizzz and Sech sat alongside a mix of reggaetón, R&B, dancehall and Colombian musical references. The album’s title also connects with his birthday. FERXXO (VOL 1: M.O.R) followed in April 2020, bringing his songwriting experience into recordings including FRESH KERIAS with Maluma. BAHÍA DUCATI appeared later that year. Its PORFA remix joined him with Justin Quiles, Maluma, J Balvin, Nicky Jam and Sech, extending a collaboration already central to that stage of his career. INTER SHIBUYA - LA MAFIA continued the sequence in 2021, with Sky involved in its production. Tengo Fe and Fumeteo sit within that record’s romantic and nightlife settings. FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS FERXXO TE PIRATEAMOS EL ÁLBUM followed in September 2022 after a leak accelerated its release. Castigo and Normal belong to this chapter. The shorter SIXDO project closed that year, including Le Pido a DIOS with DJ Premier. MOR, No Le Temas a La Oscuridad arrived in 2023. Collaborations with Rema and Sean Paul broadened its voices; in his accompanying commentary, Feid discussed electronic sounds and the choices behind individual songs. FERXXOCALIPSIS followed in December, including LUNA with ATL Jacob and Classy 101 with Young Miko. MANIFESTING 20-05 brought a joint EP with Yandel in 2024. LOS 9 DE FERXXO Y SKY ROMPIENDO returned to the partnership with Sky later that year, with Dei V among its collaborators. FERXXO VOL X: Sagrado continued the album record in June 2025. His visual work includes the Marvel comic collaboration The Green Man. In interview, he connected a desire to preserve Puerto Rican reggaetón roots with experimenting in new beats. FEID vs FERXXO began the EL GREEN PRINT sequence in March 2026, with Yuki Chiba appearing on Medellín Takai. EL MOCO VERDE followed in June, including a collaboration with Sfera Ebbasta. By July 2026, he was discussing an Australian tour, his Grabaciones Los Poderosos label and a planned four-disc story. The interview presents these as parts of a wider creative direction, including film work. The second EL GREEN PRINT disc, EL CLUB DE LAS 19 FLORES, arrived in September. The announced wider sequence remains a plan beyond its checked released chapters.
