Margot Robbie is an Australian actor and producer who grew up on Queensland's Gold Coast and moved to Melbourne to pursue acting. Neighbours provided sustained television experience before she moved into US work with Pan Am and broke through internationally in The Wolf of Wall Street. Her film career spans comedy, period drama and action: Focus, Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad films, Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, Queen Elizabeth I in Mary Queen of Scots and Sharon Tate in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. She helped establish LuckyChap in London in 2014, developing a producing career that includes Promising Young Woman, Saltburn, Barbie and executive-producing Maid. Academy nominations recognise her performances in I, Tonya and Bombshell and her producing work on Barbie. She subsequently played Sarah in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey and starred as Cathy while producing Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights. An August 2026 interview with cast member Wagner Moura confirmed that filming on the Ocean's prequel with Robbie and Bradley Cooper had begun.
